Since you’re doing things in a healthy manner I can’t imagine I’ll be of much practical help! I saw your post about skinny vs. curvy and you seem to have your head screwed on the right way! What I CAN say is VEGETABLES. I would think ‘x amount’ is hardly anything to eat in a day but when I switched out my treats and carbs for veggies I couldn’t even eat all the food I made for myself. I think thats all the healthy advice I have (I feel so lame for always yealling VEGGIES at people who ask me things :p).
Also: good healthy treat (it tastes AWESOME). Peel a banana and freeze, slice the frozen banana, blend till its all creamy, enjoy. Tastes like ice cream but is still one of your 5 a day :D

When I first started around 1lb a day if you average it out over a week ( there would be the odd fluctuation), when I was at my LW I would eat one decent sized meal at lunch time (I had to be finished eating by 2pm) then nothing for the rest of the day, maybe 1/2 an apple if I got really hungry as long as it was before 7pm, I lost 0.6lbs a day doing that.
It most deffinatly DOES slow down your metabolism, and if you restrict too heavily your body starts to burn muscle, I was alot fattier at my LW than I am now despite being slimmer. I would defiantly recommend what I suggested in my earlier post, if you stick you quorn instead of chicken/fish you’re pretty much vegan which burns a lot of cals. Cutting out a whole food group is always dodgy though so if you can balance it out more and get some carbs that would be good, but you’ll be surprised how many cals you can cut out losing dairy products!
Thats the method I used after xmas (before I lost my drive :p) and lost between 0.6lbs a day, sometimes as much as 1.4lbs, it’s not as dramatic as the progress starving can provide at first but wayyyy better and effective, and this is coming from a girl who used to force herself to eat a plate of veggies and fish! I wouldn’t have done it if I didn’t know it would work. Stay safe babe and try and eat a little more, you really truly wont regret it (especially if it’s all uber healthy stuff like veg) *hugs* xxx
Don’t worry, you’re the first to ask me! Having and ED I lost weight VERY unhealthily. My main form of exercise is walking, I hate watching people watching me exercise so I’m limited to what I can do in my room, though I’ve found my legs are very firm as a result so it can’t be that bad! Apparently walking is good for burning fat as opposed to burning whatever carbs/sugar you’ve eaten before your work out… but I can’t remember where I read that so don’t quote me on it.
At my worst I would eat pretty much nothing, an apple and a glass of milk a day, or just nothing at all. However, they way I lost this relapse is by eating pretty healthy meals, LOADS of veggies, like 100 cals worth, then the rest was made up by fish/quorn/chicken, basically something light and full of protein, me and carbs fell out BIG TIME so I avoid them like the plague :p but yeah, 2 meals 300 cals each which left space for snacks and tea. I would make up a plate of 300 cals and eat half for breakfast and half for lunch but I would recommend eating more, it’s not good for your metabolism. Also I find not eating late in the evenings is a really big help, it makes such a difference. That plus veggies, you can eat them till you feel sick and still have hardly any cals, I can’t recommend them more!
Don’t be jealous, it’s taken a while and self control to get here but I couldn’t have done it without support, I’m here if you’re in need of some *hugs* just remember each good choice you make is taking you on step closer to where you want to go and it’s really really easy to swap out small things that will make a big difference.

I got some but not really. I got stretch marks on my boobs putting on weight and they became more noticble losing weight, same with the rest of my body. BUT there is a cure. I had TERRIBLE strech marks and I used bio oil religiously night and day and it cleared them up, not shit, I would recommend it to ANYONE. It’s not cheap but please try it out at least. I thought I would never get rid of my stretch marks and it’s increaded my confidence so so much. It’s a shame some people feel sad to lose weight because of stretch marks, especially when they’re so easy to fix!
