I think she looks amazing. But if I were her I don’t think I would be able to resist the urge to want to lose a little more, I would want to be able to see my ribcage more.

I don’t think I have any place to criticise the way she looks at all though. This is a tricky question for me because the sick part of me screams ‘thinner, always thinner’ but the sensible decent side of me knows she looks wonderful… so I guess the answer is both yes and no.

I smoke because I enjoy it, the fact that its helpful to prevent eating is a bonus!

Try to remember how far you’ve come and the progress you’ve made already. Also remember WHY you want to lose weight.

Failing that think long and hard about what you want to eat, imagine how it will taste and feel in you mouth. Imagine all the calories that you’ll be taking in per mouthful. Drink a big glass of water then go fetch whatever it is you want to eat. Eat it slowly, chew the mouthful, take in the taste. Swallow it. Now think, for a second, did it taste as amazing as you thought? Think about how that felt, then think about how much you will gain as a result. Think about the feeling when you first stand on the scale and it has a lower number, or you can wear a smaller sized item of clothes. Does the food you’re eating taste better than that feeling? If the answer is yes then have a big mouthful of water and go on ahead and take another bite. Then think it over again.

If you’re truly going to binge then there’s not an awful lot I can say that will stop you. But often I find I have that first bite, or first few bites and the regret has already set in, what takes strength is to realise that you CAN stop, you DON’T have to eat all of what you planned. So think about what you’re eating, force yourself to acknowledge the fact that you’re choosing misery and disappointment over your GW. 

Also, allow yourself the odd treat from time to time, if you work it into your diet it will prevent you snapping and binging on that forbidden food. And if binging is something you struggle with they to keep your intake regular and not too restrictive. Yes your weightloss will be slower than if you’re eating next to nothing but by skipping the two step forwards, one step back that is starving and binging you will lose more weight in the long term and keep it off.
